8 Mbps Broadband Access From Airtel

Telecom major Bharti Airtel announced the launch of 8 Mbps broadband Internet access for Chennai, Pune, Kolkata and Delhi/NCR subscribers.

Presently, Airtel broadband offers speeds ranging from 256 Kbps to 4 Mbps. BSNL presently offers upto 2 Mbps speed, with plans to introduce 8 Mbps connections later this year.
