Mobile Tracking System

Mumbai-based Micro Technologies India Ltd has developed a lost-mobile tracking system. Next time you lose your mobile phone you could actually get to know not only the location of the handset but also the mobile number of the person using your handset.

The application works on GSM technology. The software, which is loaded into the user's mobile phone, in the event of a theft or the handset getting misplaced, informs the user about the new mobile number with the current location of the handset through an SMS alert along with an e-mail to the original user's email address.

To begin with, the company has agreed to offer the technology to Bharti Airtel in Delhi.
